As the third-best city in the country for young professionals and the second-best city for millennials, Lincoln truly is the best place for young professionals to live, work and play. Our city’s talent recruitment and retention efforts are successful because of programs like the Lincoln Young Professionals Group, which provides exceptional programming and events to unite, empower and engage this influential demographic that comprises nearly 35 percent of Lincoln employees. Why is involvement in Lincoln’s YP group so important for the young professionals within your organization?

The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED) has announced five recipients of the LaunchLNK program for 2021. LaunchLNK helps startups get established and grow in Lincoln by providing funding, resources and opportunities. 

Corral Technologies, Sub Guru, Oculi Data LLC, Job Share Connect and Iron Sun have been named as recipients of the LaunchLNK award. The LaunchLNK program provides startups with a $25,000 grant, connections to mentors and potential corporate partners and professional services from HBE, Cline Williams, Suiter Swantz, Eakes Office Solutions and Firespring.  

The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED) has announced that applications for the next round of LaunchLNK grants will be accepted through Friday, November 6.

The LaunchLNK program provides startups with a $25,000 grant, connections to mentors and potential corporate partners and professional services from HBE, Cline Williams, Suiter Swantz, Eakes Office Solutions and Firespring. Eligible startups include Lincoln-area companies that have a scalable business model. 

The schedule and list of events for Techstars Startup Week Lincoln has been announced, beginning on Monday, October 5th and continuing through Friday, October 9th.  

This year’s events are online and feature a five-day celebration of the startup community in Lincoln that builds momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship. The themes of this year’s presenters are Collaboration and Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Social Justice, Looking Forward to Future Opportunities and Tech.
