Applications Open for NMotion Venture Residency and Accelerator Studio

Nationally ranked startup accelerator gener8tor has hired Nebraska native Scott Henderson as a managing director to be based in Lincoln. He will spearhead the NMotion Studio Accelerator and gBETA Lincoln program while serving as the local conduit between the Nebraska startup ecosystem and the broader gener8tor network.

With a very heavy heart, the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development shares the news that our vice president, Pat Haverty, passed away late last week. Finding the words to appropriately express the significance of this loss to our organization and our Chamber family is extremely difficult.

Building Startups from Scratch

Startup accelerators NMotion and gener8tor have announced an expanded partnership that includes the launch of the NMotion Accelerator Studio in Fall 2020 and the continuation of the gBETA Lincoln pre-accelerator program.

The NMotion Accelerator Studio will solicit applications from individuals and teams (“Co-Founders”) with the goal selecting five teams to each build a startup from scratch.

The continued challenges surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the workforce have forced employers and jobseekers across the country to create innovative solutions. One of those solutions not only continues to connect people with jobs but also provides a blueprint for other communities to emulate across the country.

EmployLNK, the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development and other local partners hosted their 2nd Drive-Thru Career Fair on July 14.

LINCOLN, Neb., June 12 – The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development are encouraged by today’s announcement by Governor Ricketts to help Nebraska’s economy recover from the COVID-19 pandemic through the ‘Get Nebraska Growing’ initiative.
