Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development Announces Leadership Transition

The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED) announces that Luke Peltz, Vice President of Economic Development, will be departing the organization after accepting a new professional opportunity.

Since joining LPED in 2013, Peltz has played a key role in advancing the organization's mission to grow Lincoln and Lancaster County's economy through business recruitment, business retention and expansion, strategic partnerships, workforce development initiatives and community engagement. He has worked closely with local businesses, elected officials, developers and regional partners to support projects that have strengthened Lincoln's economic competitiveness and created opportunities for long-term growth.

“Luke has been a tremendous asset to LPED and to our community,” says Jason Ball, President of the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development and Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. “His collaborative leadership, strategic mindset and commitment to our mission have helped strengthen our work in business recruitment, business retention and expansion and community partnerships.”

“While we will miss his leadership on our team, we are grateful for his contributions and know he will continue to make a positive impact on Lincoln,” Ball adds.

Peltz expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to serve the Lincoln community through LPED.

"It has been an honor to serve the Lincoln community through LPED and to work alongside such a dedicated team, our investors and community partners," says Peltz. "I am proud of what we have accomplished together and am grateful for the relationships that have been built along the way. While I am excited for a new professional opportunity, I will always value my time at LPED and remain committed to supporting the continued growth and success of Lincoln."

Peltz will be joining Bluestem Capital Partners as Vice President of the Lincoln Market.

LPED has begun the process of identifying Peltz's successor and remains focused on advancing its strategic priorities, supporting the growth of existing businesses, attracting new investment, fostering entrepreneurship and strengthening the economic vitality of Lincoln and Lancaster County.
