For today’s young job seekers, place is just as important as opportunity when it comes to accepting a job offer. The good news? Lincoln’s a great place to live and work. With hundreds of talented young people interning in Lincoln each summer, we’ve launched MyTern to make sure that their out-of-office experience is as enriching as their work.
MyTern, a program from the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, connects interns from a variety of industries, backgrounds and hometowns with engaging events and networking opportunities. MyTern features four signature events designed to showcase life in Lincoln, foster new relationships, and support their ideas and ambitions. In addition to our signature events, interns also receive a weekly newsletter that features 9 curated activities and events to do in Lincoln—by the end of the summer, they’ll know 99 of the best things about living in Lincoln.
This year, there will be a hybrid model and events will be held both online and in-person, with the kick-off event set for Wednesday, June 16. MyWeek, from July 12-16, will feature various 1-hour events with the closing event set for July 27. More info below.
