For today’s young job seekers, place is just as important as opportunity when it comes to accepting a job offer. The good news? Lincoln’s a great place to live and work. With hundreds of talented young people interning in Lincoln each summer, we’ve launched MyTern to make sure that their out-of-office experience is as enriching as their work.
MyTern, a program from the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, connects interns from a variety of industries, backgrounds and hometowns with engaging events and networking opportunities. MyTern features four signature events designed to showcase life in Lincoln, foster new relationships, and support their ideas and ambitions. In addition to our signature events, interns also receive a weekly newsletter that features 9 curated activities and events to do in Lincoln—by the end of the summer, they’ll know 99 of the best things about living in Lincoln.
Throughout the summer, MyTern will enable interns across Lincoln to forge connections with one another, the business community and the city itself—not just as a place to work, but as their home and playground too. More info below.
