To grow Lincoln’s workforce and increase talent immigration, the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development announced the launch of their new marketing campaign – “Lincoln the Place to Be.”
In 2018, LPED, along with other local companies, identified the need for a marketing campaign that tells Lincoln’s story to those out of state and can be used to strategically recruit people here.
The campaign features a landing page: PlaceToBeLNK.com, digital ads and an email series that positions Lincoln as a place of opportunity for people in other markets. It shares the message that Lincoln is a high-quality place that offers a low cost of living, a combination that many people are seeking when making decisions about where they would like to live. The website provides call-to-actions that link to other existing and relevant assets currently located on the Select Lincoln website (selectlincoln.org).
The campaign is targeted to individuals ages 20-40 located in mid to major markets who are interested in Lincoln as a place to relocate.
