Startup Week 2020
Monday, October 5 kicks off the 2020 Techstars Startup Week. The five-day celebration of our community is led by local entrepreneurs and builds momentum around entrepreneurship in Lincoln. This year's virtual event provides expanded opportunities for everyone to connect, learn and get inspired by showcasing programs, spaces, mentors and opportunities that help make Lincoln an inviting place to build a business.

NMotion Names New Managing Director
After a nationwide search, Nebraska native Scott Henderson has been selected as the new managing director of the NMotion Studio Accelerator and gBETA Lincoln program. Scott's background includes founding his own companies, working for tech-oriented foundations and serving as the chief entrepreneurial officer at Purdue University.
The programs Scott will lead are part of gener8tor, a nationwide network of startup accelerator organizations and we are excited to take full advantage of gener8tor's national mentor and investor network under his leadership.
NMotion Venture Residency Program
NMotion will be awarding 10 motivated individuals with $3,000 stipends to build new tools, websites, products and services from scratch over a four-week timeframe as a part of the NMotion Venture Residency Program. The program, which will take place October 16 - November 16, provides talented individuals a platform and space to identify innovative ideas for the future. At the conclusion of the "venture residency", participants have the opportunity to earn a spot in the NMotion Accelerator Studio, where they can receive at $100,000 investment to turn creative ideas into bonafide Lincoln startups.
