The Manufacturing Tech Certification Program provides a unique opportunity for those with no prior experience in the manufacturing industry to receive the training needed to step into new careers that offer excellent pay and benefits. The program also includes:
• Free childcare
• Complimentary meals
• Insight into career opportunities
• Training to position participants to step into entry-level manufacturing careers
• Valuable job shadow opportunities
• $250 stipend upon program completion + application to at least one manufacturing job in the Lincoln area
Program Requirements: In order to receive the certificate of program completion, participants must have basic English skills, attend all sessions, participate in one job shadow and maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance. In order to receive the $250 stipend, participants must complete the program requirements and apply for a job with at least one local manufacturing company.

The Lincoln Manufacturing Council Coordinator and LPED’s Director of Workforce Development, Allison Hatch, will host a virtual information session on Tuesday, March 29th at 9:30am via Zoom. Allison Hatch will provide an overview of the program, details on the application process and insight into who might be best suited to participate in the program.
