The University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and Nebraska Wesleyan University both provide an excellent offering of programs related to the field. While UNL is certainly the backbone of engineering research and education in Lincoln, there are many institutions that offer 2-year and 4-year degree programs in this field. In particular, Southeast Community College has an extensive program in Mechanic and Repair Technologies.
